Dispute Resolution
Most disagreements between a player and a casino come down to a settlement that looks wrong, a bonus that vanished, or money that has not arrived yet. Almost all of them can be sorted out in a single exchange if the first message contains the right details. This page explains where to send that message, what to put in it, how the case moves after that, and what happens if the answer is not one you accept.
When to use this policy
It applies to anything you want to challenge about your account at DK88: a bet settled against the result you expected, a market voided, a cash-out that did not go through, a casino or instant game round that ended badly, a bonus or free spins removed, wagering that did not credit, a King's Market order, a VIP tier that was not granted at the start of the month, a deposit that has not appeared, a withdrawal that is taking too long, the way a member of staff dealt with you, or the way your data has been handled. It reads alongside the Terms and Conditions, which are the rules a decision is measured against, and the Privacy Policy, which covers anything about data.
Check this first
- The bet and transaction history in your account. It carries the exact stake, price and timestamp, which is usually enough to answer the question on its own.
- The conditions written on the offer card on the Bonuses page. Several cards run a countdown, and an offer that has expired is not the same as an offer that was withdrawn.
- The time zone the timestamps are shown in, if the disagreement is about when something happened.
- Whether the market was voided rather than settled — a returned stake and a lost bet look similar in a balance and are not the same event.
How to open a case
Use the support and feedback link in the site menu. Write once, in one thread, and keep the reply in that thread rather than starting new ones — parallel threads about the same event slow it down more than anything else. Do it while it is fresh: the earlier a case is opened, the more of the surrounding record is still easy to pull.
What to put in the message
- Your username. Never your password — nobody here will ever ask you for it.
- The date and time of what happened, and the time zone you are quoting.
- The amount in MYR, and the bet, round or transaction reference it belongs to.
- The exact name of the game, the match and market, or the offer as it appears on the card.
- Screenshots if you have them, including the screen you saw at the moment the problem appeared.
- What you are actually asking for — a resettlement, a refund, a bonus reinstated, an explanation.
What happens next
You get an acknowledgement with a case reference, and that reference stays with the case to the end. First-line support looks at it against the account record; if it needs someone closer to the detail it goes to the team that owns the area — payments, sports trading, bonuses or VIP. We may come back to you once for evidence we cannot pull ourselves, such as a bank reference or a transaction hash. The answer comes in writing, says what was decided, and names the rule or the record it rests on rather than leaving you to infer it.
On timing: we aim to acknowledge within one working day and to answer a straightforward case within a few. A case that depends on a game studio's round log or a payment provider's investigation takes as long as they take, and we would rather tell you that than let the thread go quiet. While a case is open the disputed amount stays where it is; we do not move funds out of an account mid-review unless there is a live security concern about the account itself.
| Stage | Where it goes | What is needed from you |
|---|---|---|
| Opening the case | The support and feedback link in the site menu | Username, the date, time and time zone, and the amount in MYR |
| Acknowledgement | First-line support, against the account record | Keep the case reference and stay in the one thread |
| Specialist review | The team that owns the area: payments, sports trading, bonuses or VIP | Evidence we cannot pull ourselves, such as a bank reference or a transaction hash |
| Written answer | The team that handled the case | Read which rule or record the decision rests on |
| Second review | Someone who was not part of the first review | Say on the same reference which part of the decision is wrong and why |
| Outside DK88 | Your payment provider's own procedure, or your rights where you live | The same references, screenshots and case reference |
Bets that were settled the wrong way
A bet stands at the odds shown when it was accepted, and it is settled from the official result published by the competition organiser. Where that organiser corrects a result, we correct the settlement with it, in both directions. Stakes come back when an event was abandoned or postponed beyond a reasonable window, when the participants were wrong, when a market was listed in error or when a price was obviously mistaken. Scores and timers shown live on the site are a guide only, so a disagreement between the on-screen clock and the official record is resolved in favour of the record.
Bonuses, wagering and King's Market
Bonus disputes are decided against the conditions printed on the offer card at the time you claimed it, so quoting the offer by name matters. The usual causes are wagering that has not finished, a countdown that ran out, an offer taken twice, or bets that do not contribute to the requirement. Dash Coins and orders placed in King's Market are handled the same way, with the coin balance and the order record as the evidence. If you are unsure whether something you are about to do will cost you a bonus, ask before you play rather than after — a question answered in advance is far easier than a wagering balance reconstructed afterwards.
Deposits and withdrawals
- A deposit that has not appeared: send the reference and timestamp from your bank, wallet or e-wallet app. For an e-wallet payment, send the transaction reference shown in the app.
- A withdrawal that is slow: check first that your email and phone are verified and that you are withdrawing to the method you deposited with, since both are common causes of a hold.
- Money sent to a wrong address you supplied yourself cannot be recalled, which is why the crypto address is worth checking twice before confirming.
- Your payment provider has its own complaints procedure, and it runs in parallel with ours. A chargeback, however, is not a substitute for a case here — it freezes the account instead of resolving anything.
If you disagree with the answer
Reply on the same case reference and say specifically which part of the decision you think is wrong and why. That triggers a second review by someone who was not part of the first one, and it produces a final written answer. Nothing in this process takes away any right you have to pursue the matter further where you live, and using such a right is not treated as a reason to restrict your account. Where the money moved through a payment provider, their own procedure remains open to you as well.
Records, language and fair use
Case correspondence is kept with your account record for as long as the Privacy Policy describes, so a reference from months ago can still be picked up. Cases are handled in English and Malay, the same two languages the site runs in. We will answer an identical claim once and then close it, and abusive messages to staff end a thread rather than advance it — neither of those affects the merits of a genuine case, which is judged on the record and nothing else. You must be 18 or over to hold an account here. 18+.
